Thats from the extra 2 points of compression from carbon buildup on the pistons

whatever it is i just think the motor is so happy to have good oil in it its w willing to rev to the moon to make you happy

Whatever it is, I know it was running hard. I eventually tore it down to do a refresh and higher comp pistons. Gotta go find another sludge motor somewhere.

I bought mine off ebay, jdm_texas (they are no longer a user).

I complained, they picked it up and sent me another one. This one came from Nagano.

Cleaned up well

Throttle body was nice and oxidized

i got my bluebird from tigerjapanese. cannot beat the price but the motor had been sitting for a while. had some sludge in it but nothing too bad. even came with the transmission haha. they were pretty fast actually with shipping and unloaded it at my house and pallotjacked it all the wayto my garage.

if ur in fl u should get a motor from andreas miko the best bang for your buck hands down if u dont know u better ask somebody
