Reputable jdm engine shops online?

I see a lot of members buying engines but I dont know where they get them. Everyone says stay away from tigerjapanese, stay away from this and that place but where is everyone buying engines from??? Been searching online for weeks. Every place seems hit or miss.

Where do you all buy your engines from and what place would you guys recommend?

depends where you are but i know the east coast guys go to jdmenginezone and jdm engine depot

soko is another place

jdmenginezone is a good place heard good things about them but then again i heard bad things.hmmotorsonline is wat i always used for hondas tho..their engines come so damn clean

Got my first VE from JDM engine zone. It was a sludge monster. I ran about 20 quarts of oil in the first month and it cleaned up alright. That motor ran like a champ after serious abuse of 9K/nitrous.

this is where I got mine total was like 829.99 shipped to my door and was really clean the motor seems better then the other vvl motor I had in my car previously
