I don't have pictures MR because I scrapped that thing long time ago, If you know what the switch looks like alone separated from the control panel the switch it self had a bubble the size of a grape coming out of it.....matter of fact it also started to melt into the control panel as well, I had to take the switch out in pieces just to remove it.

M0J0 The resistors tend to fail. Alot. When it happens, only the highest (blower) setting works. If you're replacing the HVAC controls, you're not solving the problem. Start by replacing the resistor. It's a 2" "card" behind the glovebox.
I wonder if I can pick up that ressistor new from Gspec? I really don't want to put another used one in there, thank goodness that thing didn't start a fire back there I'd be screwed.
