Is this normal S4 cam wear? Pictures inside
I bought these cams brand new straight from JWT

It looks like only part of the cam lobe is riding on the bridge. This is intake side only both cam lobes are the closest to the distributer. They all feel super smooth, no ruffness or scratches.

Any ideas?

Most used cams I've seen have a little wear like that, but I don't know when (after XXX miles) it's to be expected. You might want to remove your spraybars and make sure they are free flowing. Clogged spraybars would cause the rockers to wear deep grooves into the cams over time.

That kinda looks like there might be a little elevated area on the rocker that would cause that.

How did your stock cams look like when you took them off?

Looks fine to me. Try to measure it if you are truly concerned.

you can always switch the rocker with another one and see if the wear starts on another lobe too.
