This is sorta significant stuff in the history of the SR20DE and the B14. The aging platform and engine taking down some of Honda's best. Well LVMS is the kind of track that suits the SE-R type platform. Buttonwillow might have been a different story.

It's definitely nice to see the venerable DE giving the much newer K series Honda motors a tough time. I wonder what Nissan will do next? I guess emissions and other reasons kept this motor from continuing to grow and evolve; also would have been nice to see Nissan bring the VE over to North America as well. What will be the next great 2.0 motor from Nissan I wonder?

Any links to a video of the race? Also, I miss Nissan Performance Mag, it's where I cracked my teeth when I got my B15 over 10 years ago now. Without that and B15sentra.net my car might have been just another car...

The dog car is an amazing accomplishment for sure! It keeps progressing thanks to Mike and with Dai behind the wheel it certainly is a force to be reckoned with.

I am thankful I was at this event and got to see this firsthand. With that said when you watched the Dog car in the technical parts of the infield it seemed MUCH more composed and well sorted than the other cars.

I don't have any video... I was helping crew for the G20 on Sat. and the Dog car on Sat. night and Sunday. Barely had time to shoot stills.
