Magnaflow resonator hunt
Magnaflow Performance Exhaust - 12649 - Stainless Steel Muffler - Discount 4 Wheel

^I am looking for a resonator like this, but in a 4inch round instead of 6inch. 6inch is weak and bangs around under the car. 4inch is perfect. I sent muffler@magnaflow.com an email, so hopefully I'll hear something back from them soon. Need a little help from the search crew. No luck with Google.

Inlet Diameter (in): 3.000 in.
Inlet Quantity: Single
Inlet Location: Center
Outlet Diameter (in): 3.000 in.
Outlet Quantity: Single
Outlet Location: Center
Internal Construction: Perforated stainless tube with packing
Muffler Material: Stainless steel
Muffler Finish: Natural
Case Length (in): 18.000 in.
Case Outside Diameter (in): 4.000 in
Overall Length (in): 24.000 in.

^Here are the DIMS I need it to be. Thanks.

A 4" round with 3" inlet/outlet? Sheesh, that's a thin walled resonator! I don't see one listed on the VRS website, but you might want to see if they can get them.

Get a good exhaust guy and it wont bang around. My 6" round 3 foot resonator doesnt bang around at all.

Sounds great on my 2.0 N/A VE setup.

60mm ApexiWS2 muffler
2.5" VRS SS piping kit
2.5" Magnaflow highflow cat
2.5" Part # 10426 resonator

^This is my setup. Car sounds pretty dang good. I'll post a VID when I get a chance, and thanks for the link.

NISMO hangers will help get rid of any movement. Those things are STIFF.

^I had some of the Subaru Kartboy hangers but the resonator still knocked around under there. I'm happy with 4" round as long as it has an 18" body.

^I have the 6" round and I'm trying to sell it on the forum right now. I also don't like how you can see it when I'm walking to my car because it hangs so low. I rather go with the 4". It actually made my VE car sound a lot better when I switched.

I'm actually in the same boat as you. I'm tempted to get 5" one, but it might not clear too well either .

I'm tempted to get a Vibrant one for that reason. 3" in/out, 4" body, 18" long (15.5 for resonator).

Vibrant Performance ::.

Here is another one 3" in/out, 5" body, 18" long (15.5 for resonator)
Vibrant Performance ::.

Finally looking at the ultra quiet one too, but it's oval and probably wont fit.

3" in/out, 4.75" tall, 6.75" wide, 10" long.
Vibrant Performance ::.
