Thread: Automatic SE-L Problems

OK so I have an SE-L that runs. But it has an Issue when you put it into drive like it wants to backfire or something. Are there any common problems on Auto SE-Ls with sensors or anything that would make it down on power and want to back fire?

Its has wiring issues like crazy. The harness was hacked to hell. Motors running off two cyls. smells like gas. Has been hit MULTIPLE TIMES. Radiator support is twisted to hell and things are just hanging in the engine bay. Dont waste your time.

Offer him 300, keep the motor, sell the rims, junk the shell = profit

I think the motor might be toast. Its running off two cylinders and smells like gas. She said she drove it like that forever and it just kept getting slower and worse. Her "Mechanic" also had no Idea wtf he was talking about! I guess I parked beside one of the girls family or friends in a WRX. Once this chick opened the door of the wrx and I seen it was TOUCHING MY VETTE I had to just leave. The whole thing just pissed me off Big waste of time. I offered $400 but I wouldnt even pay it. Youd be surprised how cheap B14 SE-R/L rims go for now!

Lol shut up Gault! I didnt really know how much they went for either. I made up for it helping you swap clutches! Jerry in the right eyes its worth at least four. The rims are $200 with tires (quick sale with no sitting around), the panels are good on parts of the car. $200 more dollars. Then your stuck with a shell. I seriously and honestly couldnt drive the car the way the wirings looking though.
