Another trick if you have no help is putting the breaker bar with the correct socket on the bolt, then prop the breaker bar against the cement, and turn the key. That'll loosen it realy quick... But I'm not sure you want to try it without the head and all that in place...

And an electric impact at harbor freight is 49.99(not cordless, dont get cordless)

Yep the impact will work well in this situation. Once the bolt is off you will need a pulley puller. I believe you can rent one at the auto parts stores.

I got it off I used the jack handle, and I blocked the piston using wood and the head bolts, now the oil pump cover isn't coming off, im going to de-grease the engine and try again tomorrow, maybe I'm missing a bolt or something

Electric Impact Wrench - 1/2"


Without the head is fine, only time you shouldn't use the starter is if the timing chain is off and cams are still holding the valve open.

This is the best way to remove the crank damper / pulley bolt, works every time !!
