Like i said, no need to remove the brackets from the plenum to remove the runners. The plenum can stay in the car for the entire head removal. Ive yet to have one that i couldnt remove the runners and without even having to loosen the bracket bolts.
Ve's are easier except for the stupid coolant hoses that are bolted to the intake manifold. But still less of a pain. And yes ve's have way too many support brackets on them. I always remove all of them before installing the motors. They are useless. not like the intake manifold is gonna crack and fall apart. Nissan really went above and beyond supporting that intake manifold. lol.
