Window trim Removal
Hey everyone. I need to obtain some trim pieces on my NX2000. I will be hitting up the local junkyard. Just wanted to see if anybody has removed these pieces. One is the trim piece on the side of the windshield. The other piece goes below the rear side glass. I'm posting a picture to show which trim pieces I'm talking about. Any tips would be welcome. Thanks.

As for the rear window idk...
But isn't the one on the side of the windshield only replaceable by like a window shop when they replace the windshield, cus I think it's another form of whetherstriping. I know I've been asked if I wanted to have it replaced when I get my windows tinted before...

On the front windshield you can get a continious gasket/trimpce that runs one side to the other, for best results the current shield needs to be removed (preferbly when you repaint so that rust doesn't form unfer the gasket) after paint you install the shield with excss urethane and then press the new weather strip down into the space. Sealing the complete wind shield area from all weather.

The windshield piece I just pulled on it slowly just using my fingers. It came off eventually. You just have to be careful not to break the plastic tabs.

The side trim piece was a little harder. I did have to damage the front end a small bit. What I did was grab a bolt and used the head of the bolt to tap the front part of the trim piece. The tapping made the trim start sliding rearward. After I cleared the second plastic tab it was pretty easy to pull the entire piece out. Luckily this is just going on my beater NX.
