hesitating/leaning out issue
I have a basic ve setup in a 99 SE-L that has had a full tuneup (cap, rotor, sparkplugs, wires, and a new O2 sensor (also has a b15 maf for plug n play). The issue is that while driving the wideband will completely lean out and cause the car to basically lose all throttle power. It has these hiccups but will sometimes drive normal. Ive changed the maf to see if that was an issue and it was not. The only option left i think is the internal coil for the distributor could not be feeding the car the right voltage and cause this issue. Is the internal coil swappable from another distributor i have?

Maf voltage was 1.7v at idle which is regular. Tested another maf that had 1.6v as well so they were good. When i would switch mafs the problem would still arise but not immediately. Its so intermittent. Full throttle sometimes will cause it to hesitate and lean out.

I'm having the same issue, I think is not enough fuel pressure. I'm Looking into buying a nismo fpr to see if that's the issue.

I have a walbro 190 in there.it worked fine when the car was on a de-t setup for over a year and then the above mentioned 25000 miles on it i put I think dre told me a while back that its really rare to have a dizzy go bad. Either way i go its 100 bucks to get another pump or a used b15 dizzy/plug n play dizzy for 99 harness( i dont feel like hacking the harness. I guess i could install the old stock fuel pump and a fuel pressure gauge as two options but kinda hard to see if fp is low when it idles fine.

Anyone one what the first step to take is? I dont have a adj fpr.

I solved the issue. I had an afc in the car at one point so i rewired all the ones i spliced and that solved the issue.
