Paint color thread
My car is white, and I will probably keep it white, but not necessarily Vail white.
IF I change the color,I am looking to do something unique, since it will cost more to do the jambs and all that.

Looking for some custom colors,Nissan or other OEMcolors, etc.
show me some pics ,if you have the color code, whatever you got.

I was at the Nissan stealership the other day and saw a nice white on a new sentra called "aspen white pearl" paint code is QAC.
Kinda has some blueish sparkles in the sun.
I really want to find a white that has some alot of silver in it to really pop in the sun.
I hate the pearl whites that look beige.(like the Z32/Q45 color)yuk

I also like the" monterey blue "on the 370z paint code RAE.
There was a member here that bought one that color,IIRC

Yea.... Danny2.0.

But I'm with you on keeping the white tho. I mean think about the cost Jay. If you stay white.... with a white bay and jams, go with the aspen white pearl. It will look amazing for one. And be so much easier on the pocket. Plus... no worry about all the nooks and crannies.

Personally that is the color I am aiming for one day soon when I get the body work done.

As for that blue.... I'm kinda tired of it. It's the "everyone get's" color. And I have been into mini trucking and cars for ever it seems now. But when I see a car at a show that you know it's not a stock color. It just kills it for me. I'm all about a person working with what they are giving unless it's an old school hot rod or a show car/truck.

Just like the black engine bay... some colors it works on.... some it don't. It's not hard to keep a engine bay clean.

Wayne have you seen that aspen white in the sun...very nice.
Plus its a sentra color,too.
I still want the bay painted to match whatever color is used no matter what.

Keep the color OEM. You can't go wrong. To do a complete color change on a car IMHO it has to be done 100%. That means stripping the car to the bone to the point that a person will never be able to tell it was another color and that is big money for a quality job.

tht white looks sick. but I personally like being different so im going with midnight purple "I" (color code LP2) on my car. i think its a beautiful color, originally nissan, and not outrageously overpriced Photobucket

but has SE-Rican said its a lot of work. im jus gonna "hushmat" (same has dynomat) most of my car. so im jus gonna paint the out side of course and the door jams and inside trunk.

i would personally use the newer maxima/altima pearl white(forget the actual name-i believe it is aspen white, has alot of pearl) throw some metalic flake in it, and add a little more pearl, maybe house of kolor mother of pearl, and call it a day. when my altima is all cleaned up and shiney it looks awesome in the sunlight so add those two options to it and it will look pretty bad ass

QN0 - Depending on who you believe it's either White Platinum or Arctic White Pearl. It's the color of my P10 and is the color I am considering when Sunny gets a facelift.
