No, they have both. Mine is stainless. I had to get the Autometer part number, then give that part number to the dufus at Autozone. Otherwise, he was lost.

Still have the bag with the part number. I'll get it.

Glad to help. I put grey RTV on it, but just at the edge so there would still be plenty of metal-metal contact on the threads to ground it. I think many people recommend running it without any sealant, but it has been working fine for a few years now and no leaks.

Auto Meter


it looks like stainless steel but it's actually brass. it's the way they finished it which makes it look that way. the older ones were actually brown/gold like you would expect. seee summitt says it's brass too. that was what i was going to get till i heard horror stories about the brass breaking.
