it's all steel! So it should be able to hold the wieght of the electric vdo sender fine.

just figured i'd let evryone know so you don't have to use the "very nice" but expensive nissport piece. this one is only $10.

Are you referring to putting it where the stock oil pressure sensor is? This is what I used for that spot:

yeah i saw your post i think that's the one i'ma use since it porven to work. you have any pics installed?

Sorry, no pics of it installed. Just know that the female end is tapered, so it will seal itself as you tighten it. I didn't know this so I put RTV on the edge (leaving some metal exposed to connect so it would ground) and I took it apart after it looked like it was creating new threads. I didn't know it was supposed to do that. But I just looked at it again after two years installed and no leak.

did you thread ou vdo sender strait into it? or did you use a hose connected? to mount the sender elsewhere.

VDO Sender => Adapter=> OEM hole. All threaded together. Give me the weekend and I might be able to squeeze under the car to take a pic.
