I did that some moths ago. Just be sure get all that old rtv from the oil pan and clean it good. After re-install, let it dry good. I waited 24hours before I put any oil in it.

I use ultra grey rtv but you can also use a felpro oil pan gasket. you can get them from rockauto. I used one when I put my motor together since the lips of the pan were not as straight as I would have liked.

Right Stuff ftmfw, it seals anything. I had a couple dings and scratches in my pan where someone took a screwdriver to it. Right Stuff was the only thing that sealed it after several attempts with rtv's.

Permatex Ultra Grey RTV supersedes a couple other of their products and is superior in every way to the Black and one other color. They still sell the other colors simply because people still insist on them due to what their factory service manuals say.

Ultra Grey is our duct tape.

Nissan has the good stuff, i forgot the code name for it is cmiiw s-206 silicone, its been too long, just go to your nissan parts counter and ask what their techs use.

planning on resealing my pan this oct. and since i'm here in the philippines and the Nissan dealerships dont carry the oem silicone, i'm using the OEM Opel, VW, Seat, silicone for Oil Pan's.
