Thread: Failed Smog cause of one hose plz help

I failed the visual inspection cause of one hose was not connected.


The hose connects to there the guy said, I just don't know that is.

Not really sure(as your fingers are a bit in the way) but that looks like the one that goes to the charcoal canister, doesn't it...?

On the second picture, to the left of what you circled, there are some words with an arrow... What does that say?

Item circled in second pic is that emissions device on 1991-1992 engines mounted to the left of the catch can. I can never remember what it's called.

Ill post another one with it hanging with out my hands. The vacuum diagram says E something A Cut valve. I don't know where that is.

This is on a NX 2000 with headers I don't have that header shield with that part on it. Mine is missing. What is the proper name for that part so i can go buy it hook it up and rip it back off again.
