Thread: Name that axle, win a prize. Not really, but help!

Bear with me, fellas. Newbie to the whole SR20 thing... I ordered an axle for the driver-side of my 200sx se-r (man. 01/97) about a month and a half ago. I just got around to removing the old one and low and behold, the new one is the wrong axle. I would say it's definitely a left side, but it has an extra "disc" of teeth where the axle goes into the hub "knuckle." I've attached a pic for reference. I'm thinking that it may be for newer models? Thanks in advance!

That is an ABS axle, and it will work fine for your application, whether you have ABS or not.

If the length is good, put it in. BTW, you can take a hammer to that ring and pop it off if you like.
