b14 GXE cat and b14 Se/Se-L???
Does anyone know if the cat off of a GXE is the same as the ones found on a 98 SE and 99 Se-L?

I have a o2 sensor that I can't get out of the cat and I have tried everything to get it out and I know it's bad. I would like to replace it but if I can get the cat and o2 sensor from a junk yard for less than $20 I will do it. but I don't know if it will work. Especially if the pipe diameter is different between the motors.

Any info is appreciated.

should be the same as long as its a 98-99 sentra or did all the sentras have the longer cats? but the 98-99 have 4 wire 02 sensor so you'll need the 98-99 if they are the same

This is what I have heard^^

only problem is I can't seem to find a 98/99 sentra at the yards... PITA. Honestly all I need is the damn o2 but I can't get my OE one out. I have tried breaker bars and 3 different lubes... NADA.

Same here, Rust FTL!

I'm considering about doing the Resistor mod to just kill the CEL!

i tried taking mine off put it was tough. i have to change it soon. PB blaster is good and could loosen a slit bit through the threads.

dont quit sentrixx. UUUUUSE THE FFORCE !

X2^ plus buy a propane torch works like a charm. Just be careful where on the sensor you grip the top part is like glass under that thin metal sheet

I used PB Blast also... nothing.

I can't take this anymore... everytime some gets in my car they HAVE to say something about the light and then I am reminded of how lame I am.

Try adding the propane torch to the mix. Spray and soak overnight then heat the thick metal parts until they are just starting to get red hot then go at it with the breaker bar and repeat if necessary. This has worked on every stuck nut bolt and stud on my car to date and there have been A LOT of them and IMO waaaay stucker than any non rusty southern car
