Why are you wanting to pull the wiring harness?

if i am going to put the ve engine in the NX its easier to unhook the haness from the computer and remove it with the engine and then swap it over to the ve engine especially since a few of the plugs are hard to reach and i think i have to lengthen a couple wires, just seems easier to do it that way, thats how i did the 91 se-r i swapped

^ Word on that. Feed the ecu wires through the firewall and pull the engine with the harness on it, thats what josh did with mine worked great.

not sure what a RR motor is, did you mean like a 2000-2001 sentra 2.0 engine?

I agree that a stock det with some extra boost on a good tune is much more fun than a simple bolt on ve. Way back in the day, people used to do this all the time and not have issues, lol. You just have to know what you are doing and be thorough with the install. The main advantage of the ve vs. the det is you are probably going to be getting a newer engine with the ve and you have more potential in the long run if you want to spend money. A simple det swapped nx with supporting mods will put you deep in the 12's in the 1/4.... What will a stock cam, ebay header ve do? 14.5? It all depends on what the op really wants out of the car. If 25-30whp over the current de is enough, then ve will be easier for you and keep you happy.
