Thread: automatic tranny problems

Just swapped in a used transmission, but used a different torque converter
and because the one they gave me the nubs on it looked different. Now the tranny wont go in reverse and overdrive or shift to third. Car is a 96 infiniti g20 with a g20 transmission and Sentra torque converter. Will post pics later.

The one on the left is the one that came out, the one on the right is the one lkq gave me.

Excuse me car does go in reverse, but you gotta be around 2k to get it to move. Any think it could be a clog screen or stuck valve?

You have an internal problem bro. Its most likely gonna be burned out clutch packs

Tranny getting returned!! On the the third one.

The nubs on the Tq refer to its stall speed btw. But the difference between the 3 wont be much.. Give or take 300rpm

Would it make a difference in the tranny cooler lines where backwards???
