I've had one or two hoses on my P11 like that, like the break booster. But I had to replace them for VE anyway, so I didn't mind just ripping it up.

I'll see if I can get a set of those locally though .

When I took those fuel lines off the pump, I just replaced them completely. It was only a couple of dollars of hose and now I don't have to worry about them cracking for another decade or so. Just do that and shred them to get them off easily if you have to.

I've used the flathead screwdriver trick in the past, as well, with success (no damage to hose). What I did was turn it parallel to the line after I wedged it between the end of the plastic fitting and the beginning of the hose and it helps to push it out. If they're really old though this might not work, they might be stuck on there pretty good.

Well, I got it to move about a 1/4 of an inch then it stopped. I guess I need to go get those hose pliers tomorrow.

I use needle nose pliers and get the hose to turn. There's a seal that needs to be broken for the hose to slip off that usually only works by getting the hose to twist on the nozzle. You can even put a rag or something on the pliers between the hose to help not tear the hose.

If the hose is long enough, you could just cut it off and then just put it on the new one.

I use a 90* pick to run around and crack the seal the hose has made to the plastic, then use hose pliers (harbor freight had pliers with a smooth plastic clamping surface so i got those). This will help you from tearing or riping the rubber hose.

If that hose is that solid and conformed to the bung flare, wouldn't you want to replace them anyway? I would be worried about it sealing well when you reinstall them.
