Thread: Hey, gotta question about my transmission grinding

OK so i have a 1995 with a sr20det s14 black top in there

Currently its pretty much stock, except the FMIC intake, 3 inch exhaust, on 11 psi

( btw i decided to not get cams and all that, instead I'm fixing my vvt)

Ok so like when I'm on the gas and shifting from 1st to second I get a bad grind! and from 3rd to 4th another grind


My cars in the shop getting a bigger turbo kit, injectors, tune all that stuffs and ill be making around 300 hp

So with the added power my tranny will really grind


I'm wondering if this could be my clutch master cylinder? My tranny shifts fine when I'm just cruising, its when i wanna step on it i get the grind problems


Any help would be appreciated =P

bad synchros, get another box on there

Yes def sounds to me like bad syncros I would either do a rebuild or get a new low milage trans.

To fix it, or replace it with a better tranny...




what would you guys recomend
