YES. You need to run hood pins per Seibons web-site.

I like that price, but my decision is not price-dependent. I want the very best solution for a street car.
I highly doubt that Happynole installed anything incorrectly. He is quite knowledgeable and very picky about his ride.
I may buy 2-3 sets of expensive hood pins (Quik-Latch, Western Motorsports, etc...) and then discuss (measure, eyeball) with my body shop while having the hood pin sets in my hands. No kidding. I am not screwing this up, nor having a half-assed solution. If I have to blaze this particular trail, so be it.
