Thread: Need Short Shifter Help

Yep,the pacesetter is basically a real close copy of the factory,except with an adjustable ball.

the pacesetter is a good design. Its too bad no one has made a Chinese copy. I would have to cut and weld since I like the stock shift height.

About 2-2.5 inches, I have the exact same shifter in my ladies b13, It feels great! Not notchy or anything just shifts beautifully.

I have a smc shifter and I love it it feels great.

I hope so for the price they get for them
Do they come with a sample package of KY,or at least blow you a kiss first

im not worried bout a throw shifter u know . just want it to sit lower . so ill prolly just cut and weld my stock shifter .

B&M is the best I've experienced. Mate it with a CS shifter stabilizer or es bushing and a weighted knob and the feel, height, and throw are as good as it's gonna get.

Not to mention it's no longer gonna rattle from solid mounts or a loud exhaust...

this is the best one! had one in my turbo car. but there pricey. got mine as a gift. otherwise move the ball up and cut did that one my current car works great!

i actually like the stock height of the shifter, my hand falls comfortably to it for every shift, i wouldnt mind movig the ball tho to make the throw a tad shorter.. my friend has a b&m? short throw shifter an its real close to stock height but really short throw an its not bad but it would take me time to get use to, esp while racing cause i'd be scared to brake the threaded portion off while im slammin into 2nd gear.

i had a short shifter in the grey se-r also, it was just a cut stock one with no ball mod, pretty much like boomsticks only a tad longer.. i did get use to it but i like the height of the stock one still, maybe one day i'll try movin the ball lol
