Energizer Starter... It keeps going and going
so im pretty sure the solenoid on my starters toast, when i try to start my car the starter doesn't stop spinning.. even when i take the key out of the ignition an get out of the car. It will stop on its own after a few seconds or if i disconnect the + terminal from the battery.

good thing dan's got an extra

Same thing happened to my starter. The arm wouldn't push the gears forward to contact the flywheel. Made my first VE-T startup anticlimactic

This happened to me in a customers P11. The car had one of those dumb keypads you had to use a code before it would start, anyways I kept hitting the code thinking that is why it would not start.

Turns out that the starter was spinning but not getting pushed out to turn the flywheel. By that time the starter had gotten so hot it burned up.
