Trouble is, by the time you reactivate it and the tracking updates, it's probably being/already been stripped.

I'm talking about the time from activating to being able to track, likely more than 2mins

How about just putting a GSM in that alarm?

Amazon.com: Real Time Mini GMS/GPS/GPRS Car Tracker(4-Frequency) New version: Electronics

this one looks good. Not sure how much the monthly charge is.

I like the idea of this on my car, its only 15 bucks a month, updates every 2 minutes, cheaper than lojack, or any other tracking options out there. Just splice the usb wireing into your harness, and wrap it with electrical tape so a theif does not notice it or its blinking light and there ya go. its always tracking, never needs a charge .

Alli know is that with this if anyone ever stole my car, i dont know if i would call the police and have them track the car, or pull out my gun and get a group together and go find the piece of shits that stole it and teach them a lesson so they stop stealing vehicles

I don't own any guns but if someone stole my car and I found it, I wouldn't be calling the police and the dudes that stole it will wish I had a gun.
