speed sensor a little stuck...
I'm about to install a speed sensor in my SR20 powered car and therefore it needs a different speed sensor.

Those can be a little stuck.

snelheidopnemer verwijderen uit een 100nx (gelukt) - YouTube

Now I only know mine is a bit stuck or just as worse as shown in the movie.

But I also remove my tranny anyway.

Any tips on getting the speed sensor out? Friends of mine already destroyed them (not those in the movie) and as shown in the movie there was a 5/16 threaded rod drilled in to the sensor which at the first attempt gave.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ^^^^

uhhh try some pb blaster and a small sharp tip flat head screw driver and a hammer.. just go easy little bits at a time.

if your going to have the trans out it shouldnt be that hard.

uhhh its kind of like wd-40 but it cuts through the rust an grime or whatevers holing that fucker in..

it will be easy with the trans out because you can more room to work thus more angles to come at it from.. Dont ya think its kind of hard to reach while its still in the car?

Well I've seen people ending up with a stuck and fubard sensor and the only proper removal procedure I could find, was in the youtube movie.

I don't like the idea when I want to install the digidash, I have 2 possible problems, the stuck sensor and the dash itself, both with 0 experience from my side

Added to that, using the to be installed sensor means it will show everything 2x on the dash, so 10 mph = 20 mph

i dont see any point in removing the speedo sensor unless its broken?

There are different ratio's in speed sensors, of course.

I want the digidash, actually I'll end up with a UDM Nx without the running lights

p.s. and the yellow fogs and no cupholders lol
