Thread: SR20 Oil Pan/Oil Sump Problem..

Hi Guys,

Thanks to England and its grit for deicing roads, the salt has caused severe corrosion on my car. I was doing a bit of grinding else where on my car this evening (Malaysia GMT +8) and saw some paint/rust flakes on my oil sump/pan and decided to grind it down, and guess what happened?!! DRIP!!! DRIP!!! DRIPPPPPPPPPPP!!!! B*ST*RD!!!!!!!! My car has been U/S for close to 2 month and almost got it on its wheels to get it fired up after cleaning up the rear end and now this!!

So my question. I have a Nissan Almera GTi with an SR20DE in it. Does the VVL, U13 DE,U12 DE, SR18, Lowport & highport FF share the same oil sump/pan?

I know for a fact the vvl is different. Just buy one off of Greg (G Spec ) on here.
