yeah i love how blind the guy is. lol. He says in the post several times Absolutely NO RUST but posts pictures up of several areas and there is rust. Rust in the engine bay, rust underneith (although not too bad) Obviously rust problems on both sides of the door hinges driver side being the worst as there is a nice size hole. LOL. The guys is obviously in denial. haha Still fairly clean and low mileage but definitely not rust free. My car is 100% rust free AZ/Nevada car Underneith and all. Not even any surface rust anywhere besides the brake rotors from washing it.

The red one on ebay right now with 120k is way cleaner than that one is. And its a no reserve auction i believe.

I tend to think a decent, low mileage used car is hard to find at $3k, let alone a bone stock, UNMOLESTED, 2 owner classic. A little rust, sure, but it doesn't appear that'll fall apart anytime soon. And for an almost 20 year old japanese car from New York state that's about as "rust free" as you're gonna get.

The red one isn't too bad, but personally I'd overlook a small amount of rust for the fact that it's a "virgin" before I'd overlook multiple owners, God knows what's been done to it, tastelessly mods, a re-paint (look at the gasket between the spoiler and trunk lid) and an unknown history just because it's "rust free", and that's claim I'd doubt before I put my own eyes on it. Just sayin'.

The red one is supposed one owner. Paint looks in better condition as well. Interior looks like its in great shape and yes that one is truely rust free unlike the black one.

The red one only needs a new dash, besides that you might want to change the door panels and shift boot, not that expensive... and I think that's all... more miles but 120k it's pretty decent... the black one, removing rust, but that could turn out expensive... tough decition... and working A/C for me it's a great find!

The red one has working a/c as well I believe so yeah other than the door panels Which you dont necessarily need to replace you could just get them recovered and replace the shift boot. The dash you could do a microfiber covering on it and would turn out pretty nice.

I meant the red one , the black one doesn't say if it has a working A/C... i think that due to the rust, the red one is better, the rust can turn out to be a really expensive fix...

PD: Nevermind, they both have working A/C

Look at the history report. It's been in Lancaster, Pa since 1996 and in 1999 it was titled with 367 miles on the odometer??? Not to mention that there's no history prior to 1996. I smell something rotten.

If it's really been in Pa that long, @ 122K miles (if the IP hasn't been swapped) I'd bet $100 there's rust on it somewhere. You don't know that it's truely rust free until you see it with your own eyes.

Paint looks good because it was repainted to some degree, the guy says, and I quote "looks to be in near new condition and appears to have had only one owner". Car salesmen say a lot of crap, especially shady ones.

Interior: Dash cracked, headliner missing, center stack looks like it has some sort of spuge on it and there are zip screw holding the shifter trim down where it meets the center stack. One ricer brake pedal.

Trunk: board over spare tire and cover on the back of the back seat are missing.

Drivers door jamb: Dome light switch non-existant (passenger side too), evidence of door sag as the black cover is mostly missing from the striker and the "ID sticker" is all scraped from the door hitting it.

All these things point to how it was taken care of. It's a turd in my book.
