That's a good question. I've wondered the same thing. I've looked at OEM axles in the junk yard, but it looks like the OEM vs aftermarket shafts are designed a lil different. If you have an OEM axle that the damper just fell off of then I'd say you could. Aftermarket I'm not sure about. I think you'd have to take one end off to do this though? Not to sure, but it looks like they slip on? Maybe someone that knows for certain could chime in?
