Thread: engine not starting....ugh

No using the 93 ecu now...but when I had to fix the 91 harness I took it to a friends car and it fired right up..the wires were all the same...its the small square plug that the engine plugs into the dash harness

So you're sure of spark, and fuel. Well are the plug wires perhaps in the wrong order? There should be numbers 1-4 on the cap, and #1 starts at the front of the engine, or pass side.

Also, I was trying to find some issues with my NX. I was under the hood and had the intake off for something, and I also swapped in another fuel pump. I put my intake back on, then tried to fire it up, and nada. Swapped back in my original fuel pump, as I thought the newer one was bad, and still nada. It turned out that my dumb ass forgot to tighten the hose clamp on the throttle body, so it was a major vacuum leak at that point. So, check that, and other vac leaks as well.
