I'm about an hour north of you. There are few guys in the Temecula/Murrieta area that are closer to you.
Your motor does look like it's the original. Although I've seen a couple RR swaps where the stock lowport intake manifold was swapped in along with the stock valve cover (due to clearance issues with the lowport intake manifold) and oil separator/catch can. If you look closely you can see that the tube that fits over the valve cover is either in a different position is a different tube. You'll either have to that head code for us, or have one of us look at your car to verify.

That's not that far..the code is 2j2..

It is a RR, 01-02 P11 /w lowport intake mani.

and lowport valve cover and stock oil separator/catch can.

Bent valve?

My 94 se-r i bought a few years ago had a bad misfire and had no balls. i did every tune up possible....turns out i had 6 bent valves.

Compression test it.

And im over here thinking its from a sentra se..how did you guys find out? Lol..bent valve?? That does not sound good
