It might be the EGR solenoid. They sometimes go bad. I'm having the same code on my P10. They are expensive new, but if you find one in a junkyard they fit in your pocket.

So do you think the egr solenoid and that air temp senor is what's making my car run lean? What year and model intake should I get? Man I wish there were locals out here in southern Cali so they can check out my b14

I have that exact same thing on my intake, that isn't whats causing it... Some people disconnect it and have no problems (I asked about that not even a month ago lol) You need to find out whats causing that EGR code.. There is ways to test if your EGR is bad but you'll need a vacuum tester, I got one from harbor freight for like 10 bucks or something

Where in SoCal are you? There's lots of us in SoCal ( I'm in Fontana). As mentioned your EGR system may not be functioning properly. The EGR works to cool down combustion chamber temps and bring your NOX levels down...this could explain the slightly white spark plugs you mentioned. The air temp sensor isn't that important, but in order for it to do its job it needs to be in the intake someplace ideally near or in the filter.

Thats the original motor, not a RR. It still has the oil catch can.
The IAT does nothing. If its throwing EGR codes you need to get that figured out. If one of the solenoids is sticking or stuck it can cause weird issues.

Im in the 760 are north county San Diego.how far is that from you lol..yeah I figured since the temp outside and the air going in wasn't that much different it'll be fine..but I checked the egr already.it died as soon as we did the test with the vacuum tester and the egr wasn't dirty either..its the original motor? But it doesn't have the fuel lines going on top of the head..
