Thread: my sr20 has no power at all!help out guys!!!!

So I changed my knock sensor and fixed my timing thinking that's wha twas holding its hp/tq back. But no it still slow! When I rev it lags like a second and the needle barely goes up,compared to my cuhs stock b13 se-r. His revs up hard,I can sadly say my ga16de had more balls than my sr20..what do I do.

im having the same problem in my ga b13. but also, it is jerking slightly when i accelerate through the powerband and i lost all my power. do you think it is fuel related?

sounds like your exhaust is plugged up but then again it could be anything....

Jerking like how?like as when your rpms get higher it shakes back and forward?..exhaust plugged? How do I fix that?

Yeah my b14 is pretty slow too.. B13 ftw haha Check the air filter for starters, then spark plugs, then hear the exhaust and see if it sounds normal. Change your fuel filter as well

Well I checked the air filter was clean,spark plugs where okay other than some white

Tps?? I've Bern having this problem since b4 I did anything to the car,since I bought it 3 months ago

Throttle position sensor. It is on the throttle body and requires a DMM meter to test

You think that's been holding back my hp/tq? What's a dmm meter? Sorry my mechanics skills are still low
