car jerking!
my b13 jerks when accelerating. not hard, but i can tell a loss of power lately, and from 300 thru 6200 it has a slight jerking as it accelerates.

i put in new...
oil
plugs
wires
cap
rotor
ignition coil
fuel filter
and checked my timing. 10 deg.

i need to fix this before the meet saturday or else i cannot make the drive, so any feedback would be appreciated.

thanks,
pat

I know you have prothanes, but have your checked your rear motor mount...
Mine was trashed, and it did that, right up until it completely gave out and it drops the transmission/engine towards the back causing you to not be able to shift at all(<-- This really sucks when it happens in the middle of a busy street like it did to me)
But while it was still operable my car would jerk around, especially at take off.

Check the simpler stuff before you go delving into things too deep

Did you check your tps sensor voltage??
Did you check your MAF voltage??
Have you regrounded your MAF??
Did you check your fuel pump and making sure its not on its way out??

All you need is a digital multimeter to check for voltage (and well, several paper clips).

Not certain if a B14 GA MAF works on a B13, sorry

another thing I found in other cars that can cause some jerking is a sticky throttle body. Since it would take you no more than 10 minutes to take off the intake, try cleaning the inside of the throttle body with a WD40 soaked rag if you have some lying around. You will probably find it will be all black and nasty. Make sure to open the throttle as well and clean as deeply as you can both on the butterfly valve and inside the throttle body.

They also make throttle body cleaner which you can pick up at autopart stores (kragen/orelly, napa, etc). If it doesn't solve your problem at least you'll have piece of mind that your throttle is clean and smooth =)
