I had what felt like a miss on acceleration. Per the FSM I checked the vacuum lines to the charcoal canister. Turned out that one of the vacuum lines going to the canister was split where it pushed onto the nipple. I cut it slightly, pushed it back on and the "miss" was gone and has not come back in two years. Took 5 minutes.

I read the title and thought, "Ewwww."

I'd use task-specific MAF cleaner rather than a WD-40-soaked rag to clean the MAF and TB. Maybe replace the fuel filter after you've checked electronics and vacuum?

I cleaned and regrounded the maf. No imrovement. Also, idk if it helps, but the sparkplugs are white and have black soot on them

could it be that shift stabilizer bushing?? mine seems worn out.

Shift stabilizer bushing eon't cause your engine to run rich, which is what it sounds like. Something's telling your engine it's cold all the time and flooding it. Your MAF might be dead, I'd check tps sensor if you haven't.

i know that, but it feels like i have a bad mount, yet all my mounts are new prothanes... the only old mound is that shift stabilizer one, and my engine feels like it is buckin up and down. as for my maf, is there an easy way to test it
