B15 Transmittion Problems

Okay i have a friend some of you might know him, Its CHERRYLOVE on this forum. He is having a problem with his B15 tranny after he missed 4th gear. Now when he tries to drive it, it is very hard to get into gear. So pulled the tranny and took the cover off the tranny and everything looks fine. I haven't seen it yet but doesn't make much sense to me. Anyone have any ideas.

Did he use hood spacers to connect the tranny to the motor? That may be the problem.

Forgot to say this is a b13 with this tranny in it. And its not a 6 speed. The Hood spacer comment has nothing to to do with this. I'm just trying to help a friend out that's why I posted this on here. Looking for knowledge not criticism.

Okay so anyway back to your question:

He missed a gear and now it sucks to get into any gear? Check shift linkage, rear motor mount, and then TOB and clutch disc/Pressure plate.
