So the crankshaft is hollow, oil enters it and is distributed to each big end and main, or enters each main and flows to the big end bearings.

Learn something new everyday i was led to believe witchcraft kept oil in the bearings.

it has oil passages, yes. The oil to the rod bearings is supplied from the main bearings. The main bearings have holes on the upper cap to allow oil into the main bearing journal, the main journals of the crank have holes that take oil supplied to the main journal and goes up through the arms of the crank to the rod journal and out the hole in the rod journal of the crank. Pretty simple. Nothing witchcraft about it. lol

$65 for the ACL bearings don't sound like a bad deal at all...

Yeah i usually get mine off ebay. If your going to replace the crank with one that is in good condition and no damage or has never been reground then just get a set of standard size ACL race bearings (non-coated) and be done. All my oil clearances using them have all been on the money and never any issues spinning bearings. All of them were in perfect condition after 11k miles of torture above 450whp. Perfect condition like the day i put them in.

Any issues with debris in the oil pump? And in the head

I'm not long after spending E500 on headwork I really don't want to go there again.
