Rod knock causes
I done a track day yesterday and developed rod knock. I'm blaming oil surge I was just out of 2 long sweeping right hand corners. Car got a oil and filter change Saturday and was slightly overfull.

Anyone have any other suggestions for the cause?

It could be a lot of things man, oil starvation somehow or restricted oil supply to the pickup tube by a dented oil pan or clogged pickup tube screen and extended periods at high rpms. Bearing damage from previous oil starvation or restriction and it was its time. Right hand turns would feed gravitate the oil towards the pickup so its hard to say man.

Other way around, Left hand turns oil goes towards the pickup, right hand turns goes away from the pickup.

Thinking of a enlarged baffled sump and a accusump to try prevent this again

I had the same thing happen at a track day to my 66K mile motor.
What weight oil were you using? I had 10W30 in mine(thanks to a 2am oilchange the night before) it was supposed to be 20W50 like a lot of the hard core track guys use. I think the 10W30 was a big cause. Baffled sump, 20W50 and a VVL oil pump should do the trick.

An accusump very well might be the ticket.
If you figure out a real solution, let us all know please. =]
