heard a rattle.. had to remove the bad trans anyway and found this:

yup, racing turns out to be a bit hard on the 'key value' clutch

hmm dont think that looks like my keyvalue clutch in the G, it looks more like a stock replacement.

whats your setup?

if im not mistaken, Nissan will replace that if its under a year old. On another note if your still using stock clutches find an SR16 clutch disc and u wont have that problem...

It is from July 2009 and lasted us over 100 track days so in that respect I can't really complain.

It is the Nissan 'Key Value' Clutch kit (replacement kit but note the Nissan badging on it)

I have the same disc for sale if you want a cheap replacement. Shameless plug.

^ already ordered the replacement last week and no offense but with what we do, would rather start out brand new and give us as much life as possible!

I've had the same thing happen to a Key Value disk and an ACT (Exedy might have been the manufacture of both).

I expect the G to be drivable by the end of the day!
