Thread: Where to buy a used motor?

I was just wondering where a good reliable place is to buy a used sr20de... Has anyone heard of or had any experience with jdmenginedepot.com? Just looking for some suggestions.

A lot of the guys have talked about this place and other places as well. This link is regarding a different engine (SR20VE) but most of these places will sell the SR20DE as well!

I bought my sr20de in jdmenginezone, i always recommend them, just look at the one i bought from the them that im currently selling http://www.sr20-forum.com/naturally-aspirated/47871-nj-jdm-sr20de.html its sorta dirty but look at the insides, that hows they sell their motors clean almost brand new

I live in san diego and ive driven up to soko and bought rwd sr20dets from them many times they were always extremely clean except for one time I pressured them to sell me an engine they hadn't checked yet, ran good but was high miles. I've gotten clean sr20ve from them before for 700$ too

Thats also great to know i know a lot of people who swear by them so i think im gonna try them first.

Where are you located? Different importers are going to be better for different parts of the country. Soko is cheaper for the west coast guys.
