I have cp pistons/eagle rods combo with 8:5:1 compression ratio so it might be a little lower but im sure if i did a warm test the compression would be pretty high. Also i did away with the egr completely so its still connected to the harness but its all blocked off. Im not sure if im gonna mess with getting new plugs since the motor is being pulled in a few months when winter begins and im going to work on my turbo setup but i gonna try and back the timing back off some when i can borrow a gun again and see if it improves.

does anybody know whats the stock fuel pressure psi?

Well I'm in the FSM right now, it says 43,4 psi and maintain the pressure above that value

34 PSI with vacuum, 43 PSI without vacuum

So says the FSM.

Fuel Pressure Check
NIEC0747
When reconnecting fuel line, always use new clamps.
Make sure that clamp screw does not contact adjacent
parts.
Use a torque driver to tighten clamps.
Use Pressure Gauge to check fuel pressure.
Do not perform fuel pressure check with system operating.
Fuel pressure gauge may indicate false readings.
1. Release fuel pressure to zero.
2. Disconnect fuel hose from fuel feed tube (engine side).
3. Install pressure gauge between fuel hose and fuel feed tube.
4. Start engine and check for fuel leakage.
5. Read the indication of fuel pressure gauge.
At idle speed:
With vacuum hose connected
Approximately 235 kPa (2.4 kg/cm2, 34 psi)
With vacuum hose disconnected
Approximately 294 kPa (3.0 kg/cm2, 43 psi)

where did u find this at b15neo? I just looked in my haynes manual and coudlnt find it. Should i back it down to 34 psi?

Oh, that isn't mentioned in the EF & EC chapter at all. Good to know I'm waiting for a Nismo FPR with that gauge in fluid.

It's in the EC section, page 1403-1404.

I posted a link in the third post of this thread, on page 1 for this FSM.

Here is where I got it from:

Index of /FSM

As long as you follow the instructions on 1403,1404 of the EC section then I would think backing it down to 34 might be worth a shot. Although I don't think 4 PSI difference is a huge deal though. But I could be wrong. I never messed with the fuel stuff when I had my RR SR20DE in there.

No problem at all. Hope it helps. But I don't think a few PSI is a big deal. Might run a bit rich but the ECU would probably compensate a bit, and you have your timing cranked up so it will help to ignite the fuel. But I'm no fuel expert so....
