compressors are different. sr20de compressor is a 6 rib pulley, and ga16de uses a 4 rib pulley. but other than that everything is the same. mabe the compressor mounts are different due to the ga16 using a different mounting bracket on the block.

They sit right in front of the oil pan almost. It looks to be so easy a caveman can do it. The 6 rib de compressors rated for r134a are available at advanced and oreillys

i have any 97 200sx se-r and i took out the a\c system out because it was not DD car but now i dont have another to use so now i have to use my 200sx as DD and it sucks right now with this heat.

I feel ya. I went a summer without AC and it sucked! I have a high pressure hose for a 97 if you need one. LMK.

Be careful with the 93/93.5 stuff. Some stuff is R12 and some is R134a. It goes 94-97/ some of 98.

thanks for all the help everybody im going to start looking for a b14 sentra because its hard to find a 200sx se-r in the junk yard at least around where i live.
