WPC and low oil pressure in a SR20DE
WPC Treatmemt Saved Our Engine!

You can see how it worked in saving our SR20 when it lost oil pressure during a race.

Wow. That's freaking amazing. The bores and the piston skirts look new!! The Dog car won with low oil pressure. Hahahaha thats awesome. WPC treating is something I'm looking into for durability whenever I decide to build a VE bottom end. Hell, my 98 stock cams looked worse than the WPC treated cams when I pulled mine out for S4s.

That's awesome! After reading a few of your articles, in Turbo I think it was, I had a few of my parts coated when I rebuilt my bottom-end a couple years back. I really wish I had the money to do everything they recommended but it's awesome to see how well it works. I’m defiantly getting my cams, rockers, and cam bearings done now when I upgrade my head next year.

Mike, quick question for you:

I noticed you used Calico coated bearings. Would you recommend that over getting your bearings WPC treated?
