You VE and lowport guys might be interested in this...
Check this out...I found some interesting info looking at the WIX site and copy/pasted it below... coincidentally it proves that the filters are interchangeable(as well as the M-108 and M-110 as debated in another thread)
The Filter from my 4.0L truck actually is bigger, and has a higher burst pressure. Also from I understand about the beta ratio,it filters better too, unless I am mistaken.
I guess I will buy a case of these to go on my truck and a VE,or my track car that has a DE with a VE filter mount.

At the moment I am still running Mobil 1 and I have been sending off my used oil to be analyzed semi-regularly over the past 6 years. My oil reports have always come back with positive results and I have not seen a change in protection (comparing amounts of metals in the oil, etc) despite the talk of Mobil 1 being bad. I've also had people comment on how clean my valve cover is (inside, not so much out...). So don't count Mobil 1 out just yet. That said, I'll probably switch over to Castrol Syn German once I get a VE under the hood.

Nice. So I can use this bigger Frontier filter on my 98 SE-R then, and it's cheaper. Good job

I do not mean to burst your bigger filter must mean it filters better but for high powered turbo cars nothing works better than those OEM style small filters. You want to hold as much idle oil pressure as you possibly can and the smaller filters are more consistent and hold pressure better than the larger filters.

Thats great info, but I clearly stated (in the first sentence)that this was for the VE guys.I never mentioned anything about turbo

On another note,I never said it filtered better because it was bigger.
What I said was based on the Beta ratio it filters better...big difference.

Did you read anything in that post before you "busted our bubbles?"

guess not, I like NOT to think of motors in terms of VEs and Hondas. Jumped to thinking you were talking about turbo cars. My bad.
