I have stumped Gregv.
Ok asked for the oem pcv hose that goes to the divider.
He sent it to me. I went to use it and ...

too short!
So i sent him the picture and he was like (paraphrasing) thats not right.

Sent me a picture of what he's always known.

Then i went outside to check my other NX

Clearly I have some kind of unnatural runner.
But where the dividing 'Y' is, is normal b/c if it wasnt the way the nipple is facing wouldnt work if it was moved to the location of the others.

Whats going on here?

You have the same runners that the guy from Taiwain used to make my aftermarket intake manifold. I think its from the UK motors if im not mistaken.

Here is a pic of my manifold and you can clearly see the two hoses that angle downward. I thought it was kinda weird when i got it. I didnt use the pcv anyways so i just put a looping line between the two.

Eric and I ran into this when we were trying to put a JDM DE manifold on my USDM DE. I'm surprised this is the first time this has come up.

It's not. Seen it on the old forum.

Yeah i believe it was just an option from the UK motors and so on. Every single jdm motor ive gotten has been the normal way. Got one from overseas like i said and got the runners that were used to make my manifold which are the same as the one you have.

Greg's is a JDM
Mine in question is JDM runner, DET(red VC)
The silver VC on my other NX is a USDM runner DE

What i find hard to believe is that Greg hasnt seen it before, and I wanted the oem hose that goes there since (after reading the PCV thread) i found out there is a fire suppressor in it.

Did you happen to get a oem hose for it?

The normal hoses have a pretty crazy bend right off the pcv and then curve back to follow the curve of the valve cover but that one you could just get yourself some 5/16 hose from autozone or whatever and install it since there are really no crazy bends at all in it. Use some worm drive clamps on it and be done. The fire suppressor is not important. No real valid reason for it.

Well when i took it off, i noticed some (not much) oil in the lines, b/c i did have a regular 5/16ths hose with clamps there. and i thought the oem hose w/ the suppressor would help cut that down some.
