Two things, the seloniod runs on oil pressure. May cause some damage because of the lower oil pressure at idle and the selonoid is going to want to be open. Also with the vtc on at higher rpm it just kills the power in the higher rpms, itll feel like hitting a brick wall.

so how would i determine the most effective window for the intake cam to be advanced?
and btw, i cleaned my maf today, and holy crap!!!!!! the difference was huge!!!!!!
