Needles work great. I de-pinned a plug in the ecu room when I did my harness swap using my moms sewing needle.

^^^^ Finally someone else with some sense. No need to spend money on a depinning tool. lol. Another thing that works great is a bobby pin. Just take the little rubber piece off the end with a knife or your finger nails and even better than a needle being its like the perfect width and flat with more area to lift the clip holding the pin in place.

Depinning tool......Sheesh. lol

I use a little mini screwdriver that i grinded to a point. Works perfect and you have a little handle to hold on to. Been using it for about 10 years.

Ended up just using a safety pin.

BTW....I didn't know there was one but I wasn't aware of the pin lock on the bottom of the harness. Took me almost an hour before I realized that. Then the pins came out in seconds.
