Ecu pin removal tool?
I need to swap some pins around apparently still on my p10 ecu into my Se-L and was wondering what I should use and if there are any special way to do this. Last thing I need is to mess up the line and or blow my newly tuned ecu.

I have read that using a small screwdriver from an eyeglass kit works. Anyone try?

I think Radio Shack has specific tools for this. Pretty cheap too. Ask for a de-pinning tool set?

I've always used super long/thin needle nose pliers and just used one of the prongs.

I usually just use a needle. It doesnt take much to lift the tab holding the pin in place. A needle always works perfect for me. Just lift the clips up on the back and you can see how they go in and look on the front side and you can see inside and see the tab holding the pins. Just stick the needle in there and lift it up while pulling on the wire and it should slide right out. Its pretty easy.

Some needs to do a sr20 re-pin write up video or something. Someone who has done it before.

You are right sir, they do have de-pinning tools. It's next to the soldering stuff. I was just there today to pick up some desoldering wire, and I noticed them in the same area. They were around $8.00 I believe.

I used this to put a b14 ecu in a 99 sel.

That's all a little to confusing for me. I just need to know which pins I need to move and where along with what colors for a p10 ecu into my sel. Guess I should ask in that thread.

Same concept. This shows the pins better. Follow this and you should be fine.
