Energy MM inserts

Hey everyone can the energy inserts fix messed up MM's? The ones on the NX are shot and I don't want to make the investment for new ones. I have forgotten if you can just stick em in the old mms to solve the issue.

They are a pain in the ass to install, and I'm not looking to build another vibrating racecar...already have one

I'm looking for a relatively cheap, comfortable, and easy fix.

I did that, its a no go. Its like putting duct tape to hold crap, you still have crap in the middle, the metal tube the bolt goes through will be free floating, only sitting on the edges of the insert which is only held on by the pressure of the motor sitting on it. cheap and easy would be prothanes, oem replacment would be softer and easy swap and cost more, you will probably doing it again in another year to two depending on what you replace it with.
