I did that, its a no go. Its like putting duct tape to hold crap, you still have crap in the middle, the metal tube the bolt goes through will be free floating, only sitting on the edges of the insert which is only held on by the pressure of the motor sitting on it. cheap and easy would be prothanes, oem replacment would be softer and easy swap and cost more, you will probably doing it again in another year to two depending on what you replace it with.
